As a little girl, Cari loved being Nicci's model for anything beauty related. As she got older, she started the experiments on herself (this led to an unfortunate eyebrow plucking situation that lasted for the better part of a year). By the time she was in college, she was working part time as an assistant and makeup artist for her sister's company, Bella by Nicci. After five years of experience, Cari decided to pursue a full time career in the beauty industry and enroll in cosmetology school with her twin sister, Cassi. She loves job because it is so fun and rewarding.

The trunk with our entire kit in it was jammed shut. We. Could. Not. Budge. It. Nicci climbed into the back and started unloading everything through the back door only to find that our makeup kit was completely trapped in the trunk door. She got the scissors and started to cut away at the bag to try to free it. At this point we were late for our start time and beginning to panic. We had decided we needed to try to find someone to help us (someone taller and with more grip strength?!) when the groom appeared asking what he could do. Thanking our lucky stars that:
1. The groom was even there! - they are often at different locations, especially first thing in the morning AND he showed up to help us before Nicci really got a chance to dig the scissors in.
2. Rachel, the bride, is genuinely the sweetest person ever (& insanely pretty). She laughed it off with us!
